Latina Mentoring Academy

On Sept. 8, Limited Brands’ Office of Inclusion, in partnership with the Latino Associate Resource Group, hosted the 2011 graduating class of the Hispanic Chamber of Columbus’ Latina Mentoring Academy. The Latina Mentoring Academy is a 14-week professional leadership development program that combines classroom-style workshops coupled with one-on-one mentoring. The academy is the first of its kind in Ohio, offering a formal mentoring and professional development program geared toward Latinas. The Latina Mentoring Academy works cooperatively to develop, attract and retain young professionals for the Central Ohio workforce. At the event, 14 graduates were honored alongside their mentors, representing both the private and public sector of Columbus.
